Leh July 11 :- Joint Director, Sheep Husbandry Department, Dr Iftikar Hussain along with District Sheep Husbandry Officer Leh, Dr Tsewang Morup & Livestock Development Officer Khaltse, Dr Tsering Lamchung visited various villages of Khaltse subdivision centres yesterday on July 11 July.
All the staff of Sheep Husbandry Department, Khaltse welcomed the Joint Director on his first visit to various department centres at Sub division Khaltse.
Besides, Joint Director, Dr Iftikar Hussain visited different ongoing infrastructural projects at Khaltse and also checked departmental records & instructed all staff to maintain records and work hard for the revival of livestock in the subdivision.
He listened to the grievances and challenges regarding the revival of livestock in the subdivision and instructed to provide the required facilities to the livestock rearers.
He ensured to provide all items required to the farmers as well as the different centres of the department.
Also, he discussed with all staff for installation of prefabricated buildings for departmental centres in villages.
