Leh, June 27: In a gesture of gratitude and seeking continued support, a delegation from Zanskar Karsha Gonpa, led by Ven. Lobzang Sangdup, Photang In charge of Karsha Monastery, along with BJP General Secretary Rigzin Tsewang, paid a courtesy call to the Hon’ble Chairman/CEC LAHDC, Leh, Tashi Gyalson.

The delegation expressed profound gratitude to the Hill Council Leh for its unwavering support extended thus far. They highlighted the crucial role played by the council in various developmental initiatives benefiting the Zanskar region, particularly emphasizing the support received for cultural and community projects.

During the meeting, Ven. Lobzang Sangdup conveyed the Gonpa’s appreciation for the council’s efforts in fostering cultural preservation and community welfare. He underscored the significance of ongoing collaborations in furthering educational and social initiatives within the Zanskar Valley.

In addition to cultural matters, BJP General Secretary Rigzin Tsewang discussed developmental priorities and sought continued assistance from the Hill Council Leh in addressing infrastructural needs and enhancing connectivity in the remote regions of Zanskar.

Hon’ble CEC Tashi Gyalson acknowledged the delegation’s appreciation and assured them of the council’s continued commitment to supporting the socio-cultural and developmental aspirations of the people of Zanskar. He reaffirmed the council’s dedication to inclusive growth and sustainable development across all regions under its jurisdiction.

The courtesy call concluded on a positive note with mutual assurances of continued collaboration for the holistic development of Zanskar, reflecting the ongoing partnership between the Hill Council Leh and various community stakeholders.
