JAMMU: A man from Jammu was shot dead in broad daylight outside a mall on a busy road at Sector 67 in Punjab’s Mohali on Monday afternoon.
The victim has been identified as Rajesh Dogra, alias Mohan Chir, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, who has been involved in a number of high-profile crimes here in the union territory.
The police and forensic teams said at least 19 bullets were fired at him by unidentified assailants.
The police said they suspect the murder could be the fallout of an enmity.
The body of the victim was taken to the civil hospital in Phase 6 and senior police officials reached the murder spot.
