LEH: Gochak ceremony commenced smoothly in Leh district of Ladakh union territory the other day. Ladakh Police extended its appreciation to the Traffic wing Leh team for ensuring its smooth beginning.

The event’s first day saw a large gathering of devotees, presenting significant challenges in managing both pedestrian and vehicular movements on roads compounded by snow and mud from the latest snowfall.

Their proactive measures and meticulous planning facilitated hassle-free movement for all devotees attending the event.

“Ladakh Police extends its appreciation to the Traffic wing, Leh team for ensuring smooth commencement of Gochak ceremony in Leh city today.  The event’s first day saw a large gathering of devotees, presenting significant challenges in managing both pedestrian & vehicular movements on roads compounded by snow & mud from the latest snowfall.
