LEH: The Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd (JK Bank), Leh conducted a ‘Financial Literacy Camp’ at the Council Secretariat of LAHDC Leh the other day.
The session was attended by the Councillors of LAHDC Leh headed by the Executive Councillor for Minority Affairs, Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor, and the officers/officials of Council Secretariat, Leh.
Experts from J&K Bank, Leh conducted informative sessions where attendees were enlightened on a wide range of topics including various Loans and Deposit schemes, Housing Loans, Credit Cards, Digital Channels, Digital Fraud prevention strategies, and essential social security schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, Pradhaan Mantri Jeevan Suraksha Bima Yojna, and Life Insurance Schemes. Additionally, special provisions and benefits for the government employees of UT Ladakh were also highlighted.
Later, an interaction session was also conducted to clear all kinds of queries and doubts of the Councillors by the team of experts from JK Bank, Leh.
