Leh, Feb 08: The Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson was called upon by a delegation of Ladakh Buddhist Association, Sham unit, led by its President Tsewang Norboo.The delegation briefed CEC Gyalson on the ongoing work progress at Zer-thang, Khaltse, ahead of the visit of His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche to Sham this summer.
The Ladakh Buddhist Association, Sham unit expressed their utmost gratitude to the Hill Council, Leh led by H’CEC for ensuring a speedy progress of work at Zer-thang for a smooth and comfortable stay of His Holiness to bless the people of the Sham region with his teachings. Furthermore, a wide range of discussion was also held on various aspects of tourism promotion in Sham region in presence of Sham Coordination Committee Members.
The delegation also comprised the executive members of Sham Coordination Committee and Nambardar, Sham region led by their Presidents.
