  • CEC directs to expedite the work for timely completion of projects
Leh, Feb 08: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson convened a meeting today to finalise the alignments of several By-pass routes including By-pass 1 from LSRC Guphuks to Martselang-Upshi via Farka-Stok, and By-Pass 2 from Colonel Rinchen Chowk to Sindhu Ghat via Saboo.
During the meeting, the Departmental heads provided an update of the detailed work progress and various concerns regarding the routes and its alignments.
Emphasising the importance of these By-pass roads, H’CEC directed all the concerned officers to expedite the work progress and complete the projects within the set timeline. In addition to that, CEC Gyalson also shared his inputs suggesting a need for realignments in the routes of By-Pass 2, connecting Sindhu Ghat with Colonel Rinchen Chowk via Saboo village.
The meeting majorly discussed a comprehensive road map for the implementation of the projects and the timelines for the completion projects.
Dy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk; EC Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel; EC Minority Affairs, Ghulam Mehdi; DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, Chief Engineer PWD, ACR Leh, SE PW (R&B) Leh, Xen R&B Leh, Naib Tehsildar Chuchot, officials from Project Himank, BRO, and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
