Leh, Jan 31: A 16 day on-going training program of Second Language Acquisition (SLA) was held at DIET Leh.
On 11th day of training, experts from District Child Protection Unit, Protection Officer Institutional Tashi Dolma, Protection Officer Non-Institutional care, Fariya Rafiq and Project Coordinator Child helpline Farhana Nazir (Mission Vatsalya) briefed on child safety and security amongst the head Teachers of Middle Schools and Primary Schools.
The experts highlighted the importance of child safety in Schools. They also highlighted the children in need of care and protection.
Information Technology expert, Thinless Wangmo gave hands on orientation on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software to the Head Teachers.
Around 45 head teachers participated in the training.
