Leh, Jan 28: Ladakh Science Foundation (LSF) in collaboration with South India Ladakh Student Association (SILSA) and Kargil Ladakh Student Union Bangalore (KLSUB) organized ‘Ladakh Youth Conclave’ at Tibetan Youth Hostel, Bangalore the other day.
Around 150 students participated in the Conclave. Kapil Mohan (IAS), Additional Chief Secretary, Karnataka Government graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and other distinguished speakers were Dr. Rigzen Norboo, Geologist, GSI, Bangalore; Tsering Tashi, Founder-LSF/Scientist ISRO; Dr. Stanzin Nouskit, Asstt. Professor, ISEC, Bangalore; Jigmet Paljor (IIT-D), Energy Engineer, Bangalore; Mohd Mussa (IIT-K), Software Engineer, Bangalore; Khatija Banoo, Design Engineer, Bangalore; Tsewang Dolkar, Engineer, CPWD, Bangalore; Rigzen Wangmo, Harvard University Graduate; Shabir Ahmad, Scientist, DRDO; Dr. Smanla Tundup, Scientist, USA; Dr. Mohd Ibrahim, Max Planck Institute, Germany.
They provided valuable insights regarding various career opportunities, scholarship schemes, oversees education prospects, entrepreneurship, advancement in the field of science, space and defence technologies, medicine, artificial intelligence, culture preservation and many more followed by various cultural performances by SILSA student unions.
