Arjun Munda elected Archery Association of India president, again - The  Jharkhand StoryLeh, Jan 21: The Archery Association of India (AAI) held its General Council meeting in New Delhi where Arjun Munda, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs and Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, was re-elected unopposed to the position of President.
The elections, conducted in a smooth and transparent manner, saw the entire panel, including Sr. Vice-President (1), eight Vice Presidents, seven Joint Secretaries, Secretary-General (1), and Treasurer (1), being re-elected for the term 2024-2028.
Ladakh Archery Association’s Vice President, Motup Namgyal, and General Secretary/Councillor, Sherab Alchi, actively participated in the election process, casting their valuable votes. The representatives from Ladakh Archery Association congratulated all the re-elected members of the body.
Expressing their congratulations, the Ladakh delegation conveyed their best wishes through the traditional Ladakhi khatak. They sought the continued support of the President and General Secretary of the Archery Association of India for further collaboration in organizing sporting events in the region. Emphasizing the importance of uplifting youth from all corners of Ladakh and fostering sportsmanship, the Ladakh Archery Association discussed plans for hosting national-level events, including Senior National Archery, Junior National Archer, and Sub Junior Archery and Coaches training in Ladakh.
The fruitful discussion highlighted the commitment of both parties towards promoting archery and youth development in the region. The Archery Association of India looks forward to a successful collaboration with Ladakh Archery Association in the coming years.
