Jammu, Jan 05: In a startling revelation, it has come to fore that the terrorists are using different Pakistani networks to dodge the security forces along the Line of Control in border Rajouri and Poonch districts.
Credible sources said that safely escaping after carrying out a terror attack on the Indian Army in which four jawans were martyred in Poonch-Rajouri close to the Line of Control, the terrorists camped in these areas have changed their strategy.
“To escape from security forces, terrorists are using different Pakistani SIM cards, which are being replaced with another after making calls and sharing messages,” sources said.
Sources said that the security agencies are facing hardships in tracing the location of the terrorists, adding they said, “in the border districts close to the Line of Control, Pakistan has installed more than a hundred high frequency mobile towers in its high areas.”
“The Pakistan operators network extends to the villages located nearby Line of Control as well as areas located at a distance of a few kilometres,” they said.
“Taking an advantage of the high frequency network near the border, terrorists are easily in contact with their handlers operating in Pakistan to carry out terror related activities from the secret hideouts in the forests located in Poonch and Rajori districts,” sources revealed.
They said that the Pakistani towers are clearly visible from the Khadi, Karmada, Digwar, Dalan, Bagyaldara, Shahpur etc, areas surrounding Poonch district on the Line of Control.
According to sources, the signal of these towers is caught almost at all the high altitude areas of Pir Panjal including Thanpir, Dodi, Jabbi Dhoti, Hadibudda, Savani Top, Toppi, Dehragli Top, Loran, Shindra Top, Sangyot along with Pir Ki Gali.
“While searching manually, the network of three to five Pakistani mobile companies starts appearing in some areas. This network is helping Pakistan trained terrorists to survive for a long time by escaping from the security forces,” sources said.
They said that the Pakistan as per reports was randomly installing mobile towers on the Line of Control under the guise of ceasefire, which is a cause of concern as these high frequency towers are helping terrorists to operate easily and following the directions of their handlers operating from across the fence.
