Leh, Dec 27: To prepare for the upcoming calendar year, Deputy Commissioner Santosh Sukhdeve chaired a meeting in Leh to discuss and finalize the proposal for the preparation and revision of market values for immovable properties in the district.
During the meeting, officers presented a comprehensive proposal for the block-wise market value adjustments for the year 2024. Among the notable changes discussed were the rates for various villages, reflecting adjustments based on the current economic scenario and property market trends.
DC Leh emphasized the importance of accurate market values to ensure fair and transparent transactions related to registration and land acquisition. The proposed rates for different villages were carefully considered, taking into account factors such as location, demand, and the overall economic conditions of the region.
The meeting was attended by officials including the Superintending Engineer of PWD, District Registrar, Divisional Forest Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, District Panchayat Officer, Tehsildars, and the Executive Officer of the Municipal Committee Leh.
