Leh, Dec 27: The Stakpa Student Union, in collaboration with Art in Ladakh, concluded a three-day skill development workshop that captivated students and participants alike. The workshop was a testament to fostering creativity and honing artistic abilities among the youth.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Sarpanch Stakpa, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Additionally, Master Hassan, as the Guest of Honour, emphasized the pivotal role of education and pledged financial support for future endeavours by the student body.
The workshop, which brought together mentors from diverse backgrounds including Sabiya from Art in Ladakh, Monik from Kerala, and Malgo from Poland, aimed at nurturing students’ talents in various art forms. Through their guidance and unwavering dedication, the mentors facilitated an open learning environment, enabling students to delve into fine arts, rock carving, and personality development.
Addressing the gathering, the Sarpanch commended the Student Union for organizing such a commendable workshop and assured continued support for comprehensive student development.
The closing ceremony witnessed a heart-warming prize distribution ceremony, acknowledging the students’ dedication and enthusiasm for learning new skills. “We are immensely grateful to our instructors for imparting invaluable knowledge and skills in fine art and rock carving,” expressed a student representative, reflecting on the workshop’s impact.
