Patna, Dec 25 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday dismissed all speculations in the media about his annoyance and said there was nothing for him to get annoyed as he was only interested to ensure united fight of opposition against BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
Kumar told media persons here that he was not at all annoyed as his only desire was to ensure united fight of opposition against BJP in 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It had been clarified so many times earlier by him that he had no personal ambition, he pointed out.
“Seat sharing issue among constituents of opposition alliance INDIA would be settled on time and it would be communicated to media”, the Chief Minister said while responding to a query of media persons regarding seat sharing.
Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav who was also present alongwith Kumar to pay tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary, asserted that there was no hiccups in seat sharing and it would be settled soon.
Kumar profusely appreciated Atal Bihari Vajpayee and recalled how he was given freedom to work as a Minister in his cabinet.
He also recalled the incident about how Vajpayee had lent his support to make him Chief Minister of Bihar in the year 2005.
The Chief Minister lamented over the fact that allies of BJP in NDA were not being treated fairly as Vajpayee used to do during his regime. He also came down heavily on Narendra Modi government for controlling the media saying journalists were not being allowed to work freely.
