Leh, Dec 21: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp held at halqa Panchayat Nang of Thiksay block headed by Chairperson Block Development Council (BDC) Thiksay, Tsewang Paldan.
The camp brought together officers and officials from various departments, converging to enlighten and engage with the local community.
Diverse departments were represented, with officials presenting the primary objectives and procedural intricacies of their respective schemes. This participatory approach aimed to bridge the gap between government initiatives and the grassroot level, ensuring the dissemination of information regarding the multitude of benefits and assistance available to the villagers.
The Education Department’s computer operators were at the forefront, offering on-the-spot services for Aadhaar card updates. Simultaneously, the Health Department conducted basic check-ups, addressing crucial health parameters such as blood pressure, diabetes, and facilitating the issuance of golden cards. J&K Bank played a pivotal role, facilitating on-spot registration for their insurance policies, extending financial security to the local population.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp not only facilitated the exchange of information but also fostered a sense of collective responsibility. All participants, including villagers and officials, took the pledge to contribute actively to the vision of making India a well-developed country by the year 2047, standing proudly among the leading nations of the world.
