Kargil, Dec 16: Executive Councillor, Rural Development Department, LAHDC, Kargil, Er. Phunchok Tashi today inspected the ongoing progress and development of 2×1000 Mini Hydel Power Project at Raru Zanskar being executed by Kargil Renewable Energy Development Agency (KREDA).
EC Tashi directed the concerned authority, its technical staff to speed up reaming work at the earliest to provide 24×7 electricity to the people of Zanskar in harsh winter season.
Incharge SDM, Talip Hussain, Exn. PDD, Tsering Skalzang, JE and officials of Mini Hydel Power Project accompanied the EC.
The EC also visited Bardan monastery where he interacted with monks and wished the best wishes on Losar (New Year). The EC gave a patient hearing to the problems put forth by the monks and assured them to resolve them at the earliest.
