 Deputy Commissioner of Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, chaired a meeting to discuss the saturation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and status of activities in vibrant villages today at the VC room.
The meeting began with an emphasis on the importance of updated data, as Deputy Commissioner Sukhadeve directed all officers to promptly provide the latest information for uploading onto the portal. Stressing the need for regular updates, he requested monthly information from various departments to be submitted to the DC office.
To promote grassroots activities, he directed all departments to organise at least one activity per month in every village. Besides, he directed Tourism Department to submit proposals for any festival to be organised up to the month of April to DC Office.
Acknowledging the significance of financial progress, DC directed the Lead Bank Manager to take weekly updates on achievements in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
The DC also emphasized the importance of financial security, directing all departments to deposit Suraksha Beema Yojana forms with the banks.
To enhance visibility and awareness, all departments were instructed to prepare banners explicitly mentioning the Vibrant Village Programme whenever activities are organised in the villages. Moreover, DC urged departments to streamline schemes and eliminate duplicity.
Further, DC Leh directed concerned officers to prioritize the saturation of schemes that remain incomplete, reinforcing the commitment to holistic development in the district.
The meeting was attended by Programme Officer, ICDS, Leh; General Manager, DIC, Leh; Chief Agriculture Officer, Leh; Chief Medical Officer, Leh; Chief Education Officer, Leh; Assistant Commissioner Dev., Leh; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Leh;  District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Leh; District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Leh; District Social Welfare Officer, Leh. 11. Assistant Director, CA&PD, Leh; Assistant Director, Tourism, Leh and Manager, Lead Bank.
