MYAP echoes support for two members committee to represent Zanskar at Anjuman Committee

Leh, Nov 22: Muslim Youth Association Padum (MYAP) and the Muslim community of Padum organised a meeting at the Community Hall, Padum.
The meeting held threadbare deliberation over the recent statement issued by the Anjuman Moin Ul Islam wherein the latter has claimed that it was not informed by the members of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat from the Kargil Panikhar and Drass about the requirement of new member from Padum for the newly constituted Anjuman Committee at District Kargil.
The meeting unanimously rejected the claims by the Anjuman Moin ul Islam and said that it has practical evidences to prove that the Anjuman Moin ul Islam Padum was duly informed through the medium of a letter and also through phone call on November 16th, 2023 by the said committee members about the recent developments therefore the claims made are totally false, baseless and just words full of excuses.
The meeting also noticed that Anjuman Moin Ul Islam Padum has deliberately ignored the recent development.
After threadbare discussions on the matter Muslim Youth Association Padum and the Muslim Community of Padum requested Anjuman Moin ul Islam Padum to attend a joint meeting at community hall old Padum to discuss the issue which the Anjuman Moin ul Islam has failed to attend.
Pertinently, the Muslim Youth Association Padum and the Muslim Community Padum in a meeting held on November 17th, 2023 had unanimously decided to support two members with full majority for their induction into the recently formed District level Anjuman Committee to represent the Muslim community of Zanskar.
Hence, the Muslim Youth Association Padum and Muslim community of Padum reiterate its support to a two members committee which is going to represent the Muslims of Zanskar at district Level.
