Leh, Sept 16: Government Model High School, Lankore – 1st School of Ladakh UT under Public Private Partnership mode today organised Parents teacher Meet.
On this occasion President Village Education Committee Er Nasir Akhone was the Chief Guest and Head Mistress Madame Badrun Nissa was the Guest of Honour.
While talking on this occasion the president briefed about the achievements of the schools and said that it’s the efforts of all the three tyres of the School, Parents, Teachers and Vecs that the school is one of the top Schools of the Union Territory and has proved its presence by excelling at National Level Competitions like Khelo India Quiz, Science Competitions and other events.
Akhone Nasir thaked the Teaching staff for the efforts they are making to make the school a model in the whole COuntry and its the first school in the country in which all the teaching staffs have enrolled their wards in the same Government School.
Badrun Nissa thanked the Management and parents for their support in making the School a Shining Star in the Education Sector and assured that all her staff will strive hard to further polish the result to make the School an example for Quality Education.
Parents of the Students while interacting on this occasion thanked the Staff and VeCs for their out of box ideas and initiatives to provide Quality Education to their wards and assured of all possible help from their side.
Gen Secretary of the VeC Committee Mohd Abass said that after Ladakh became UT the effort has made a great leap in moving ahead with the dreams and students got a better platform along with support from the Government.
Later the Parents were taken on the round of the classes of their wards and provided opportunity to have an on spot experience of the facilities provided to the Students in School.
Its Pertinent to Mention here that GMS Lankore was adopted by the villagers in 2016 on PPP Mode and from that time onwards the VeCs has contributed a lot to make the School reach to such a high point of Success and has been Upgraded to High School from Middle School and now the School has more than 210 Students enrolled.
