LEH: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Leh, Tashi Gyalson visited Nubra region specifically Sumoor and Diskit villages to assess and review the developmental progress in preparation for the highly anticipated visit of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama this summer.
During the visit, CEC Gyalson inspected key locations including the Buddha Eco Park in Sumoor, Samstanling Monastery, Diskit Monastery, and Diskit Photang.
The CEC was accompanied by Dy Chairman Tsering Angchuk, EC Minority Affairs Ghulam Mehdi, Councillor Panamik Tsering Sangdup, Councillor Tegar Rigzen Lundup, Councillor Hunder Kunzang Lotus, BDC Chairpersons, President of LBA Unit Nubra, village representatives, District officers led by ADDC Leh, Sonam Nurboo, and Sub-divisional officers led by SDM Nubra, Dorjey Gyaltsan.
After conducting a comprehensive on-ground assessment of the locations, CEC Tashi Gyalson assured that the Hill Council is fully committed to ensuring smooth arrangements during His Holiness’s stay in Nubra.
He directed the concerned officers and executing agencies to effectively plan and execute all developmental requirements within the specified timelines.
