KARGIL: The ICDS Project Shargole today convened a meeting regarding Block Level Convergence Action Plan as per the instructions of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Shakar Chiktan at Panchayat Ghar Shargole.
In the meeting, all the heads of the departments of Block Shargole which include Sub-Divisional Magistrate Shakar Chiktan, Mohd Sharif, Block Development Council, Chairperson Zakir Hussain, Block Development Officer, Dr Kacho Mehdi Khan, Block Medical Officer, Dr Zahida Khatoon, Zonal Education Officer, Akbar Ali, AEE, G.H. Nagar, Child Develop Project Officer, Farida Banoo, ICDS Supervisor, Kacho Mustafa and Punchok Dolma and Murad Ali were present.
The SDM talked about the constitution of the Block Level Monitoring Committee to monitor and review schemes under ICDS/POSHAN-ABHIYAN of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD).
The Chairperson mainly focussed on how to reduce stunting, Under-Nutrition, Anemia and Low Birth Weight, at the block level. He also described the main guidelines in front of representatives and there are services delivered by line department to track the progress and how to achieve the baseline and target of the concerned ministry.
The SDM after the review of general guidelines for the Convergence Plan in the meeting decided to finalize the plan in the next meeting which would be conducted by both the CDPOs of ICDS Shargole and ICDS Shakar Chiktan at Shargole Block on May 24, 2023, which will be final go-ahead to the district level.
