Leh: In the marathon meeting, LG Mishra also discussed in detail the various grievances faced by the general public in Ladakh.
“A meeting was chaired by the Lieutenant Governor Ladakh, Brig (Dr) BD Mishrato discuss various developmental projects and public grievances related to health, education, employment, connectivity, employment etc. in Ladakh,” said an official spokesman.
The LG discussed a number of impeding issues including pending salary of NHM employees, opening an additional counter at SNM Hospital; making drinking water available at EJM College Leh, seeking feedback of the general public on the Logo of Tourism Dept, among others.
In the meeting, LG Mishra stressed for laying emphasis on ensuring the welfare of the people of Ladakh.
He directed concerned departments to conduct studies on schools, health centers, police stations, Administrativecenters, animal husbandry clinics and availability of potable and irrigation water across Ladakh, even as he called for constituting committees to take appropriate measures for welfare of the people.
