Kargil, March 13, 2023: Department of Youth Service and Sports, Kargil today celebrated International Women’s Day at Indoor Stadium, Kargil.
Incharge Cyber Cell, Police Station Kargil Sub Inspector Deachen Angmo was present as chief guest while Zonal Physical Education Officer Shargole , ZPEO Kargil, Activity Incharge DYSS Kargil, officials of DYSS Kargil and participants were present on the occasion.
A Badminton and Table Tennis match were also played to mark the Intl. Women’s Day event.
Players from Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil, Government High School Poyen and Government High School Goma Kargil participated in the event.
Incharge Cyber Cell Police Station Kargil Deachen Angmo hailed the efforts of DYSS Kargil for organizing the event on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
She stressed on girls to actively participate in each game and every field to succeed in their life. She also spoke about cyber frauds and different ways to escape from such frauds.
Coordinator/ Event Manager Muhammad Ibrahim Shoqi briefed about the program and moderated the event.
