Hoshiarpur (Punjab), Jan 23 (PTI) Twenty people were injured when the mini bus carrying them rammed into a roadside tree on Monday in this district of Punjab, police said.
All the injured passengers were admitted to the Community Health Centre in Hajipur from where five seriously injured were referred to a private hospital in Jalandhar, they said.
The remaining passengers were discharged after being given first aid, the police said.
The mishap occurred around 12:30 pm near Adda Jhir Da Khuh when the driver lost control and the vehicle rammed into a tree, police said, adding that the bus was on its way to Hajipur from Talwara. PTI COR SUN.
