Leh: Under the banner of Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav, the Seminar and Debate Committee of Government Degree College, Khaltse observed World AIDS Day on Dec 01 with the theme ‘Equalize: Achieving Equality to End HIV’.
Dr Stanzin Sonam from Community Health Centre, Khaltse was the resource person.
Dr Stanzin Sonam highlighted the causes, symptoms and preventive measures about HIV. He cleared the doubts and queries raised by the participating audience in an interactive session.
All the students and faculty members of the college took active participation in the event.
Earlier, Zahra Bee, Assistant Professor English presented the welcome speech and later Dechen Dolkar of 4th Semester delivered the vote of thanks.
