Kargil: Member of Parliament (MP) Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, on his fourth day of Kargil tour, today visited Zojila Tunnel and reviewed the work progress.
The MP met NHIDCL Executive Director, AK Shiv Kumar, Deputy General Manager of Project, Raguram, Manager of Project, Prashant Kumar, Engineer Aqib, and workers of the tunnel. Namgyal took assessment of the ongoing work at tunnel and appreciated the progress achieved so far. He appreciated the project authorities for making available facilities to the employees. Further, he assured to resolve the problems facing by labours. He was accompanied by SDM Drass, Mukhtar, other govt officials and BJP workers.
After Zojilla, he visited Matayen, Pandrass, Hagipora, Goshan, Thasgam, Chanigund and Hardass villages. Thereafter, he moved toward Sankoo valley by visiting Minji and Trespone village.
MP JTN met with the people and heard their demands on creation of Posts for School, infrastructure, other facilities for School, medical sub centre and motorable bridge, electricity, school infrastructure, JJM and water facilities, handpump, upgradation of medical Centre, and Ice Hockey. A detail discussion with the people was held along with respective Departments.
