Kargil, Nov 19, 2022: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan today visited his constituency Gargardoo to inspect various developmental activities.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Abdul Gaffar Zargar, CEO Kargil Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Chief Medical Officer Kargil Dr Munnawar Hussain Wazir, Zonal Education Officer, Kargil Mohd Mussa, Assistant Executive Engineer R&B Kargil Manzoor Hussain, JE R&B Circle Kargil, besides other concerned officers accompanied the CEC during the visit.
During the visit, the CEC inspected developmental activities at Govt. Middle School Gargardoo where he was dissatisfied with the infrastructure. He directed the CEO Kargil to constitute a committee to declare the school unsafe.
Khan assured villagers to include the school in plan and instructed the concerned to complete formalities and directed to identify space for two seasons to continue schooling.
During the visit, various delegations from the village submitted a memorandum of demands regarding the maintenance of road, footpath, centre for women and store for the community.
While replying to the demands, the CEC assured to take up the matter with the concerned departments.
