Leh, Nov 12: An awareness programme on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was held at GDC Khaltse today. Diveyendu Jha and Ashish Choudhary, Examiner of Patents and Designs, Ministry of Commerce and Industry Govt. of India, were the resource persons.
They gave a detailed power-point presentation and enlightened the faculty and student of the college about Patents, Trademarks, Design, Copyright, Geographical Indication etc.
A question-and-answer session was held at the end.
The whole programme was coordinated by Sonam Chosphail, College Director of Physical Education & Sports.
Earlier, Amjad Khan, Assistant Professor, History, presented the welcome speech and later Spalzes Angmo, Assistant Professor, Sociology, delivered the vote of thanks.
