Khoon Sep 19:- Coinciding with birthday of PM Modi and ‘Sewa Saptah’ chalked out by Bhartiya Janta Party, an eye-check camp was convened by Rotary, Eye and ENT hospital, Udhampur at PHC Khoon in Majalta. The camp was inaugurated by BJP Spokesperson and former MLA, Mr Ranbir Singh Pathania. Camp was marked by bee – lines of people swarming in hundreds to get their eyes checked. Mr. Pathania informed that all the patients who have been enlisted shall be given free eye treatment at Rotary Hospital, New Delhi. He was further of the view that coinciding with birthday celebrations of PM Modi, we plan to carry out the service related activities upto the farthest limits of the far flung areas. People of the area were also all praise for achievements and contributions of BJP government, may it be plethora of people oriented central schemes or other initiatives of the central government which have struck a direct chord with the common man of India.
Mr. Ramesh Chander Gupta Sarpanch, Rattan Chand Sarpanch, Mohan Lal Sharma Sarpanch, Surinder Singh Sarpanch, Kuldeep Singh District General Secretary BJP, Ved Pal Sharma, Pritam Lal (BDO Retd), and a host of local people were present on the occasion. Where as, Dr Latif Kohli, BMO Majalta, entire medical team of PHC Khoon and a dedicated team from Rotary, Eye and ENT hospital, Udhampur remained stationed at PHC Khoon till late evening. They had to face an uphill task while managing the overweening influx of patients.
