Jammu, Sep 5 :- At least five people, including a mother and son, were killed and two persons sustained injuries in separate road accidents on Monday in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said that a car skidded off the road and rolled down into a ravine near Galgander Pul Doda in which four people had died and one suffered injuries.

The deceased were identified as Satya Devi and her son Vikram Singh, Lakh Raj and Satisha Devi, all residents of Shiva. The injured was identified as Naseeb Singh.

In another accident, a car on way from Pul Doda towards Bhaderwah met with an accident near Mughal Market Parnoo sector Bhalla and rolled down around 100-150 feet into Neru river.

One person identified as Sajad Ahmad died on the spot and another Piyush Manhas was injured and shifted to GMC Doda.

The driver of the vehicle is missing and manhunt is underway to trace him.
