Jammu Sep 01 :- A free dental check-up camp was today organised by Dant upchar apke Dwar ,Plaksha foundation and under the banner of FitIndia at Govt.Hr. Sec School Marh (Dansal ) Nagrota . It’s a first kind of dental check-up camp in which the medium of instruction was Dogri.
270 students of the School were examined during the camp. The team of doctors conducting the camp included Dr. Himja Mengi, Dr. Arshiya, Pooja (Nurse) Inderjeet Shan (Health department). Principal of the school, Anja Rani Gandotra , Vice Principal Raj Singh Charak, lecturer Rakesh Gupta and Sapna Magotra were also present during the occasion.
Dr. Himja asked the students to get their dental check-up done every six months.
Dr. Arshiya stressed that excessive sweets can lead to decay of teeth and brushing twice daily is mandatory to have good oral health.
Anja Rani Gandotra appreciated the efforts of Dr. Himja and her team for conducting this dental check-up camp at their school.
