Jammu Aug 16 :- Kavinder Gupta, former Dy. Chief Minister accompanied by RS Pathania former MLA & J&K BJP Spokesperson, took stock of public grievances at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Many deputations including individual persons visited the party office to discuss their issues with the senior BJP leaders. Deputations & common people discussed various issues related to the development of their respective areas and their other concerns.
A deputation of Udhampur alleged sheer indifference of Animal Husbandry Department. They said that a serious disease in the name of ‘lumpy skin’ has spread like an epidemic in Udhampur especially Majalta and Ramnagar areas. The department of animal husbandry is totally clueless. Neither they have any vaccine nor they have any treatment to cure the disease. The skin of live stock swells, becomes oozy and ultimately it dies. BJP leaders assured to prevail upon the Lt Governor to take immediate cognizance of the matter and in order to ensure least damage to the livestock of the area they should take immediate crash measures to control the same.
Amongst issues pertaining to drinking water, electricity, NABARD roads, a wide rainbow of deputations called on in the BJP office with references and telephone calls to concerned officials.
Kavinder Gupta listened to their issues patiently and telephonically talked to the concerned departmental officials and issued letters for the others.
“J&K BJP has assigned the duty to senior party leaders to daily meet and attend to the issues of the common masses in order to grant easy access to the masses. This whole exercise is in accordance with the party principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas objective”, said Kavinder Gupta, while speaking on the occasion.
Kavinder Gupta stressed on the party’s sincere attempt to have direct interaction with the masses and provide best possible solutions to their day to day administrative and development issues.
R S Pathania while speaking on the occasion called upon the people to avail of the revolutionary concept ‘Grievance Cell’ of the party. He said that it is a sincere attempt to lessen the gap between administration and people and ensure that genuine issues of people are redressed in an efficacious way.
