Srinagar, Aug 16 :- The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have booked a notorious drug peddler under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act after recovering 44 kg of poppy straw from him in Budgam district, police said.
Police searched the house of Reyaz Ahmad Bhat at Lakhripora area and recovered two suitcases filled with the narcotics. Another drug peddler escaped, the police added.
