Jammu Aug 12 :- Four soldiers of the army were martyred in a fidayeen attack in the army camp of Rajori in Jammu division. A wreath laying ceremony was organized for four army personnel on Friday. During this, Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi and other Army officers paid tribute to the brave martyrs.

On Thursday, terrorists carried out a fidayeen attack on the Company Operating Base Camp of the Indian Army at Pargal Dhok in Darhal Tehsil of Rajori district. In this, four soldiers of the Indian Army were martyred, while in retaliation, the Indian Army also killed two terrorists.

On the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, when the Indian Army personnel were sleeping in their camp, two terrorists took advantage of the darkness, bad weather and thick grass and carried out a fidayeen attack. First threw grenades and then started firing. The soldiers on duty in the Indian Army camp also took the lead. Army personnel also started firing. In this fierce encounter that lasted for about three hours, the Indian Army killed two terrorists. In this fierce shelling, 6 soldiers of the Indian Army were injured, out of which four soldiers attained martyrdom.
