Udhampur Aug 09 :- In a massive show of strength, BJP cadres attired in colourful dresses, traditional pagris with national flags anointed on their motorcycles, organised a massive motorcycle rally here. It started from Tikri and after passing through the main bazaars of Udhampur it culminated at Rown Domail. It was flagged off at Sri Kali Mata Temple, Tikri by former minister, Mr Pawan Gupta. He was all praise for local unit for organizing such programme in such an organised way. The rally was organised by district yuva morcha (BJYM) led by Sushant Gupta.
Mr. Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson J&KBJP and Former MLA was leading the rally on his motorcycle. While addressing the gathering at the concluding point of Tiranga yatra at Rown Domail, Mr. Pathania made a clarion call to the people for mass participation and this ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme which has been unfolded by none other than the PM Modi itself. A big zeal and enthusiasm is flowing across the hearts and minds of people. People are out and out to put their bit in this national movement. This is no more a govt programme. It is a ‘Jan Andolan’ now. He called upon the party cadres to ensure that none of the houses is left untouched without the national tricolour on 13th, 14th and 15th of August. He further gave knowledge of area-specific mobilisation programmes which shall be carried out by the district Unit as well as various wings of BJP Udhampur while bolstering up public support and participation in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ abhiyan.

Our relationship with the flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 75th year of independence thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building. The idea is to invoke a feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and to promote awareness about Indian National Flag.
Mr. Puran Chand, district President BJP thanked all the participants of the rally for making it as a grand success. DDC Latti, Mrs Pinky Devi, BJYM Gen Secy, Rameez Sheikh, Kavi Raj, Ravinder Singh, Varun, Pankaj Gupta, Suhani Katoch, Samar Singh, Balbir Singh, Sehdev Singh, Arti Sharma, Anil Sharma, Balbir Singh, Gurdev and others addressed the meeting.
