Jammu Aug 05 :- J&K Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chib – led team participated in the All-India Protest held at Delhi against the BJP Government for massive inflation and price rise across the nation. Various Youth Congress members came from across the country to Delhi to participate in the massive protest staged by the Indian Youth Congress. Several youth leaders raised slogans against the Centre and held banners and placards as they gathered in the national capital.
The team of J&K Youth Congress leaders and members led by President Uday Bhanu Chib who participated in the protest included Uday Bhanu Chib, Sahil Singh Langeh, Rickey Dalotra, Divyansh Jamwal, Anirudh Sawhney, Amit Sayal, and Ajay Salaria.
Speaking on the issue, JKPYC President Uday Bhanu Chib slammed the Centre for the excessive price rise and inflation prevailing across the country. He said that since the beginning of the BJP government’s term, prices have gone up uncontrollably. At present as the Parliament is in session, Uday Bhanu Chib said, and Congress and opposition leaders have tried to raise this issue on multiple occasions, however, the BJP government has ignored the pleas of the public and continuously dodged all and any questions on inflation and its brutal impact on the common citizens. He called out the government’s silence and suggested that the Modi government continues to exploit the country and is looting the people blind, robbing them of all their savings and income, and as there is massive unemployment caused by this government, the situation continues to worsen.
He further condemned the government for their attitude towards the youth congress leaders who had joined in from various cities stating that they were not even allowed to go to their offices. ‘After several challenges, permission was granted for Jantar Mantar where the entire area was filled with water due to heavy rains on the day of the protest’, he said. He further added that the Congress party will continue to raise its voice against the back-breaking hike in prices that we’re seeing under the BJP government, which despite the pressure on the people, continues to increase GST rates and promote inflation through their policies and actions.
