Jammu Aug 05 :- On Friday morning, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team raided different places in Akhnoor in connection with the Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub Inspector recruitment examination case. It is reported that raids are also being conducted at many other places including Jourian, Domana in Jammu. Bureau teams are searching records at different places. It is being told that raids are being conducted in the library of Akhnoor involved in the allegations. At present, no statement has been issued by the CBI. Team action continues.

Recently, the Lieutenant Governor’s administration has canceled the recruitment examination conducted for 1200 posts of Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub Inspectors. After this, the investigation of rigging in this recruitment has been handed over to the CBI. Now the recruitment of 1200 posts of Police SI is to be done afresh.

Recruitment canceled on the third day of submission of investigation report

The inquiry committee constituted on the complaints of rigging in recruitment had issued an order to cancel the recruitment on the third day after submitting the inquiry report to the Lieutenant Governor. On July 6, a committee headed by Home Secretary RK Goel submitted the inquiry report to the Lieutenant Governor.

97 thousand youth gave written examination for recruitment

97 thousand youth had given the written examination of recruitment. It had come under question only three days after the list was released.

On June 10, the Lieutenant Governor had ordered an inquiry into the rigging of recruitment. It had reached the government that there was rigging in the recruitment. The paper for the exam got leaked. For this, the matter of money transactions on a large scale also came to the fore. The Lt Governor included Home Secretary RK Goel, Law Department Secretary Achal Sethi and General Administration Department Secretary Manoj Dwivedi in the committee.(AGENCIES)
