Jammu Jul 28:- Thursday, 28 July: Senior BJP Leader Adv. Purnima Sharma (Dy. Mayor) inspected the damaged caused due to heavy rainfall in Jammu.

During the inspection, Dy. Mayor Adv. Purnima Sharma said that today she is visiting various locations where the water had accumulated and caused damaged in the city and At many places old buildings fell causing damage to the nearby area.

Deputy Mayor further said that the cause of all this was the improper flow of water from the nallahs which were blocked by the garbage thrown by the people and due to the encroachments done by the nearby residents.

She further added that at many places the old houses collapsed damaging the nearby area and properties, luckily no casualties were reported and directions to the concerned officials have been passed for the clearance of the debris and management of damaged electric poles and wires.
