Jammu Jul 27 :- The number of Amarnath pilgrims has come down, but the enthusiasm of those who have reached here has not diminished. On Tuesday, 5,038 devotees visited Baba Barfani. At the same time, a traveler died due to physical problem near the holy cave.

On Tuesday, a batch of 2,189 pilgrims was sent to the holy cave from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu. Despite the reduction in the size of the natural Himling in the holy cave, Shiva devotees are reaching out to shout. Devotees from all over the country are reaching Jammu and Kashmir every day. Meanwhile, a batch of 2189 pilgrims was sent from the base camp Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu on Tuesday. With the progress of Amarnath Yatra, there is a decline in the number of pilgrims.

On an average, only six to seven thousand devotees are reaching the holy cave every day for darshan. There has also been a decline in the number of batches leaving from base camp Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. Now only two to three thousand devotees are going here on a daily basis. 815 pilgrims were sent from base camp Jammu to Baltal, which includes 475 men, 338 women, 2 children. Similarly, a batch of 1,374 pilgrims was sent to Pahalgam along with 1,001 men, 330 women, 39 sadhus and 3 sadhvis. Devotees at base camp Bhagwati Nagar Jammu are keeping the whole atmosphere devotional by chanting Bhajans. At the same time, in Jammu city, groups of saints are praising Lord Shiva. (AGENCIES)
