Jammu Jul 20 :- BSF School Jammu in a grand function under the banner of eco club celebrated Van Mahotsav in the school campus with zest and zeal.
The function aimed at greener tomorrow to combat the onslaught of global warming.
The purpose of organising Van Mahotsav was to sensitize the people about the significance of the environment.
Plantation drive organised in the school with An art exhibition was also organized on the topic: why is it necessary to plant more and more trees to preserve forests
Students participated wholeheartedly in large numbers.
Dr S K Shuka Principal BSF School Jammu inaugurated the exhibition. and aware the students about the importance of tree plantation and stressed it as a moral duty of every individual to plant trees.
He proposed to make the campus Polythene free this session. He emphasised that the students must be connected with sapling plantation and awareness programs, which will encourage others to realize their social and moral duty towards our environment.
