SIA raids on several locations in Baramulla in narco terror funding case, many arrested

Baramulla Jul 20 :- The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Tuesday raided several places in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district in connection with the narco terror funding case. Meanwhile, cross-border drug smuggling and the proceeds from the sale of this consignment have provided evidence of helping terror modules, separatists, over ground workers (OGWs) and the families of the slain terrorists. In the raid, the investigating agency has found incriminating documents besides digital evidence. During this some people have been arrested, while many others are on the radar of the investigating agency.

An SIA official said that on Tuesday, SIA (Jammu) with the help of Baramulla police and district administration also raided Baramulla and Nambala area of ​​Uri, which is very adjacent to the LoC. This action was taken in connection with the case registered at Gandhi Nagar Police Station in Jammu. During investigation, it has been found that the money raised was also given to some fake journalists so that a wrong impression is developed against the central government. Also, using social media platforms to inspire youth for terrorism, support and glorify terrorism.

Police has recovered 6.9 lakhs

In addition, some people who were found to be involved in drug terrorism financing during the raid have been arrested and the involvement of some more people in this nexus is under investigation. Let us inform that the police have already recovered 6.9 lakh in this case. The police official said that more raids are expected in the coming days. Efforts will continue to dismantle such modules operating in J&K.

Case was registered in former minister Babu Singh case

A case of terror funding was registered against former minister Babu Singh at Gandhi Nagar police station. An aide of Babu Singh was caught in the warehouse with hawala money of Rs 6.9 lakh. After this it was found that the accused had taken this money from Kashmir at the behest of Babu Singh. Which was to be used in anti-national activities. The case has now been transferred from Gandhi Nagar Police to SIA.

SIA tightens the screws

The State Investigation Agency (SIA) has tightened the noose against terrorism and its supporters. Action has been taken by the investigating agency at many places in Kashmir. Along with stone pelters, action has also been taken against those who run the network in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Jammu and Kashmir sitting in Pakistan. The houses of terrorists operating in Doda, Kishtwar, who are now operating the network by staying in POJK, have been raided.
