Srinagar Jul 20 :- The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has grounded both the airline’s aircraft following a technical fault in the engines of two Go First flights. The DGCA is probing the accident and only after getting the green signal from the regulator, both the aircraft will be able to take off.
DGCA officials said, “Go First’s flight from Mumbai to Leh on Tuesday landed in Delhi after a technical fault in the second engine. At the same time, the flight coming from Srinagar to Delhi had to return to Srinagar midway due to a fault. There was also a problem with the second engine. In the last one month, there have been many technical fault accidents in the planes of domestic airlines. Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has also held several rounds of meetings in the last three days regarding this.
Instructions to increase security monitoring
Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has directed airlines to increase security surveillance. Along with this, the DGCA officials have also been asked to ensure the safety of the passengers. (Agencies)
