Jammu Jul 20 :- The increasing spread of Kovid infection in Jammu and Kashmir has raised the concerns of the state administration and health department. On Tuesday, 333 infected cases were found in the state after three months with a tremendous jump. Most of the cases of corona are local level, that is, the spread of infection is increasing at the community level.
District Jammu is moving towards Covid restrictions with maximum 640 active cases. Preparations are being made to strictly implement Kovid appropriate behavior due to continuous infection cases in the capital Srinagar along with Jammu. Keeping in view the current situation of Kovid, masks have been made mandatory in five districts of the state, Kishtwar, Ramban, Bandipora, Ganderbal and Srinagar. At the same time, an infected patient has died in Jammu division.
Maximum 137 local level infected cases have been found in district Jammu. With increasing Kovid testing, infected cases are being found rapidly. There is a rapid increase in infected cases in the district. Due to which this graph can go up in the coming days. So far, maximum 1228 people have died due to Kovid in the district. In Srinagar also 95 locally infected cases have been found. Active cases in this district have increased to 464. 20 infected cases have been found in Udhampur district, 14 in Samba, 12 in Baramulla, 11 in Budgam and 12 in Ganderbal. In the last 24 hours, 10,617 Kovid tests were conducted in the state, due to which it is feared that if the tests are increased, the infected cases will be caught faster.
Active cases in Jammu and Kashmir have increased to 1402. Many infected patients are being treated in GMC Jammu. According to Kovid experts, a large number of people are infected at the community level, but due to the Kovid vaccination, the effect of infection is low, with most of the victims recovering on their own in a few days. The government has also started a free dose of preventive Covid vaccine in the above 18 age group.

No mask entry in Ramban’s offices and schools
To contain the spread of COVID-19, the Deputy Commissioner on Tuesday made wearing of masks mandatory in all government offices, schools and colleges besides rapid antigen test at the entry points of Chenani Nashri and Banihal Vanjikund tunnels. If people do not do this then they will not be allowed to enter government offices, health institutions, banks, financial institutions etc. across the district. Apart from this, all the heads of educational and technical institutions of the district have also been instructed to ensure wearing of masks.
