Drones on LoC: Pakistani drone sighted twice in 24 hours in Samba, panic among villagers

Samba Jul 18 :- The news of the sighting of Pakistani drones at two different places within 24 hours in the Samba sector on the India-Pakistan International Border created a sensation. The first incident is being told of the border village of Mangu Chak, while the second information was received from Rajpura where Pakistani drone infiltrated from Samba and went towards Hiranagar.

The security forces launched a search operation on the fear of dropping weapons from the drone, but no clue could be found. At the same time, there was an atmosphere of panic among the villagers due to the information of the sighting of the drone. The SPO of the Police Department informed about the sighting of drones in Mangu Chak and Chachwal villages on Saturday night.

The SPO said that at night he saw a Pakistani drone that had entered Indian territory. After some time he returned to Pakistan. On Sunday morning, security forces and police also launched a search operation in the border villages. Although the sighting of the drone has not been officially confirmed.

After this incident, around 8.15 pm on Sunday evening, people in Rajpura saw the light of the drone in the sky. People told that the drone went from Bai Nala to Hiranagar via Sanura from Rajpura. Defense sources said that even before this, the drone goes back to Pakistan via Chachwal, Chaleari, Babbar Nala, Rajpura, Sanura, Bai Nala. On Sunday too, the drone passed through the same route at the exact same time.

Drone activity intensifies in Samba sector

Pakistan has intensified drone activity in the Samba sector. Earlier on July 4, a Pakistani drone was also seen in the border village of Rajpura. On this, the soldiers of the SOG wing of the police launched a search operation in the early hours but no clue could be found. Similarly, on May 29, the Kathua Police with the help of villagers shot down a Pakistan drone, from which sticky bombs and UBGL grenades were recovered.
