Srinagar Jun 07 :- Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants, including one from Pakistan were killed in an encounter in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
“Two #terrorists of proscribed #terror outfit LeT including one #Pakistani terrorist namely Tufail killed. Search still going on,” said a police spokesman on Twitter while quoting IGP Kashmir
Earlier a joint team of Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Kandi area.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an encounter.
