Udhampur Jun 03 :- In response to repeated queries by newsmen, Mr. Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson BJP, said that recent civilian killings in Kashmir are an antidote to unprecedented development and terror control measures. Average life of a terrorist has considerably reduced. There is considerable decrease in number of foreign mercenaries and local terrorists. Operations are being performed with greater precision and least collateral damage. Now that perpetrators of terror sitting across the border have resorted to a new warfare. We all stand committed towards eradication of terrorism from Indian soil. Without any differences, let us stand united against terrorism.
Whereas, a press conference coinciding with eight years of Modi sarkar was arranged here today by district BJP unit at party office, Battal Ballian, Udhampur. Mr. Puran Chand, district President initiated the discussion on various public friendly initiatives and programmes of the party. He was quite vocal in saying that the way Modi sarkar has acted and positioned in such a way that last man in the last row feels that this is a government for poor, the weak, the under privileged.
A detailed note on the various achievements of Modi Sarkar was made by Mr Pathania. He said that 80 crore people stand benefitted out of free ration distributed under PMGKY. 1.20 crores benefitted on account of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Shehri Yojana. 2.3 crores have access to pucca houses on account of PMAY (Grameen). 11.22 crore toilets built across the country. 6.2 crore habitations were given access to piped water. Similarly 21.6 lac rehri vendors were benefitted on account of Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. Ayushman Bharat Yojana, till date, haa a beneficiary base going upto 3.2 crores. If we talk about COVID vaccination in India, we have emerged a global leader. 190 crore free of cost covid doses were administered to the vulnerable people in India as yet. 8727 Jan Aushadhi Kendras were set up across the country with a view to making available cheap and best medicines. 15 new AIIMS were opened and 200 new medical colleges sanctioned Health and wellness centers in various far flung areas have scripted a new gamut of developmental history. He further expressed that in J&K also the anti people, anti democratic, articles 370 and 35-A, were deactivated. 205 state laws which had no relevance were neutralised, 890 central legislations were made applicable to J&K and 130 state laws were amended to make them more public friendly. ACB, CBI have facilitated in fixing accountability and control. Public holiday declared on accession day. Democracy was strengthened on the grassroots level by constituting and strengthening all three tiers of local self government with almost 22 crores of money being kept at the disposal of District Development Councils. 73rd ammendment was virtually made applicable by including 27 works in the immediate do’s of panchayats. Sashakt kisan, samridh Bharat, youth leadership, nari shakti, virasat ka gaurav, sarakshan aur samman are the varioua path breaking initiatives which have made the Modi Sarkar as peoples’ sarkar.
