Srinagar, June 01: with an aim to develop Model Cluster Level Federation (CLF) across Blocks of JKRLM Additional Mission Director Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM), Kashmir, Reyaz Ahmad Beigh today inaugurated a four-day residential training programme on Model CLF for Trainer of Trainers (ToTs).
The training programme was organised by JKRLM in collaboration with Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana -National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM).
A team of experts from DAY-NRLM shall impart training to 27 ToTs from both the Divisions of UT of J&K.
On the occasion, it was emphasized that the Community based organizations (CBOs) shall develop their vision on different themes which will not only cater to the enhancement of livelihoods but also on different social issues like Food, Nutrition, Health, Wash , Gender , social inclusion & Social development, Besides the TOTs will also be trained in effective managing of the operations of CBOs by the Community itself.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Mission Director (AMD), Kashmir said that the basic aim of the training programme is to provide last mile support to the community to make the community institutions completely self-reliant and self sustainable.
further, AMD said that this initiative shall strengthen the CBOs in dealing with external agencies, achieve bargaining power and built ability to interface with other institutions and legal authorities. All the required financial & technical resources are being facilitated by the Mission, He added.
It is to mention here that this initiative is in synchronization with the “SHG Federation Vision 2030” i.e. to enable the CBOs to function as autonomous and independent institutions and emerge as viable member owned, managed institution by grooming the local women leadership.
