Jammu May 14 :-  Manufacturer of India’s widest range of Electric Scooters, Okinawa Autotech Ltd., opened its much awaited flagship dealership in collaboration with M/s V D Motors in Jammu. The state of the art 3-S Facility (Sales, service and spares) was formally inaugurated by Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Dy. Chief Minister and R S Pathania, former MLA & BJP spokesperson today afternoon at the authorised centre at Kunjwani. Mr Gupta was all praise for the sterling efforts of Sh. Anubhav Dutt and Sh.Keshav Verma, co-founders of M/s V D Motors in bringing a new, safe  and more efficient brand like Okinawa to the city of Jammu.

Mr.Pathania said that electric vehicles are the future as demand of fuel is ever rising and causing irreparable damage to mother earth, thus making e-scooters a practical and smart choice. Mr. Anubhav Dutt said in a statement that Okinawa has more than 250 dealers in India and has sold more than 1 lakh scooters in the last financial year.

Okinawa offers electric scooters with and without speed limiters and comes in 8 different models thus catering to the needs of people across all strata of society. Mr.Verma  further apprised the media fraternity present there that Okinawa scooters are 100% made in India and are the best option for two wheeler riders to switch to in today’s times when the petrol prices are constantly rising. Mrs. Ritika Trehan, social activist, was also present at the launch and said that it is high time that we adopt to new technologies making our cities a better place to live. The occasion was graced by family members and other prominent social activists of the city.
