Jammu Apr 14 :- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir led by its senior party leaders paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar at various places, as it observes birth anniversary of the tall leader across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina addressed a massive programme at Majalta. He was accompanied by General Secretary Dr. Devinder Manyal, Spokesperson R.S. Pathania, District President Puran Chand, DDC Vice-Chairman Juhi Pathania, DDC member Jattu Ram, along with Sarpanches & Panches while paying tributes to Baba Sahib.
Ravinder Raina accompanied by former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, General Secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, SC Morcha President Prof. Gharu Ram, District President Vinay Gupta, senior leader Baldev Billawaria and others paid tributes to the great leader at Jammu.
General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul accompanied by General Secretary Sunil Sharma, All Morcha Incharge Munish Sharma, Tariq Keen, Vipan Sharma and others celebrated the occasion at Harijan Basti Village Dassa Mandal Nagseni District Kishtwar.
MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma and former BJP President Sat Sharma paid tributes to Baba Sahib at Guru Ravidass Sabha Talab Tillo.
BJP Kashmir Displaced District celebrated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti under the leadership of Chand Ji Bhat accompanied by former MLC Girdhari Lal Raina, H.K. Razdan, Sanjay Bhat and others.
Ravinder Raina, while remembering Baba sahib, said that he devoted himself towards the cause of freedom of India from British and at the same time he fought bravely for inducing “Samrasta” in the society. He said that Baba Sahib will remain as a source of inspiration to all of us for centuries and India can never forget his great contributions.
Raina said that Baba Sahib, was the chief architect of the Constitution of India, which is the best among the world. Baba Sahib also contributed in the freedom of India as a leading lawyer, whenever he aborted the evil designs of the British, he added.
Ashok Kaul, described Dr Ambedkar as icon for everybody. He said that Dr. Ambedkar was born in a very ordinary family but he rose to great heights with determination and will. He said that Ambedkar ji always stood by the poor and down trodden people and was a real social worker. He said that we need to follow the footsteps of Baba Sahib, as he envisioned a new society, free from caste system and every other evil.
