Jammu Apr 02 :- In continuation of series of physical fitness drive, to inculcate the spirit of staying healthy, Indian Army organised interaction session with youth of Saaj, Rajouri on merits of Physical Fitness. Awareness lecture on “Importance of Physical Fitness” was conducted to make them understand the benefits of physical fitness. Physical fitness results in strong bones, seamless cardio vascular functions and strong muscles which results in better health. It reduces risk of several diseases like blood pressure and diabetes.
It arrests stress and makes one feel better. Playing games for maintaining a good health instill sportsman spirit and “Never Give In Attitude” towards life. Regular exercising develop flexibility, stability and reduces the risk of injuries and illness. The enthusiasm displayed by the students showed that the awareness lecture had long lasting impact on youth towards physical fitness. With dedicated practices they will channelise their energy towards spreading positivity in society.
